My great grandmother's name was Elizabeth Stuart McTeer Bolling from Roanoke, VA. I am researching the McTeer roots. I have traced back to James McTeer born in County Down in 1697. I cannot find information going further back. I know they originated in Scotland. I would appreciate hearing if anyone has information.
