My Taitz family first originated from Vilnius Lithuania. Michkel Tayts born 1803 in Vilnius. He had Rafal. Rafal moved to Salakas Lithuania. Rafal had Moishe Behr. Moshe Behr had Abram born 1879, Louis/ Lazer,1881, Freda, Ida, Hinda, Chava/Anna and Ita. Hinda Krutas and Abraham and Taiba moved to South Africa, Anna Gelman, Louis, Freda and Ida moved to New York. Louis followed his cousins the Gelman families and moved to Atalnta Ga. This is where some Gelman and Taitz families live today 2023.
