My Ancestors, The Kendalls and the Brooks married into the Winsett's in and around Martin, Weakley, Tennessee. Two or more times, The Kendalls, when Sarah Adeline Kendall married William Bryant Winsett, b. 1817, Williamson, Tennessee, d. 11/01/1910 Rockvale, Rutherford, Tennessee. Then his son from this marriage to the Kendall female, Thomas D Winsett, b. Weakley, Tennessee, d. 01/27/1938, Vardman, Calhoun, Mississippi. married Amanda Eliza Hannings, b. 09/17/1871 Martin, Weakley, Tennessee, d. 02/11/1952 Houston, Chickasaw County, Mississippi. She is the daughter of my great grandmother, Nancy Ellen Brooks Hannings Kendall. In addition, other relatives and ancestors of mine, Hannah Hastings, daughter of b. 1813, Orange NC. d. 1857, Henry County Tennessee parents both related to me via Hastings and Cates. She married William Bryant Winsett same Winsett that married Sarah Adeline Kendall later. I discovered that Sarah Sallie Hastings, my 1st cousin 5 times removed married Berry Robert Winsett, not William Bryant Winsett, his brother so I will need to correct that on my family tree. Martin Richard Winsett, b. Jones, NC moved to Henry County, Tennessee and is the common ancestor, father of William Bryant & Berry Robert Winsett.
