Yes, that is what the tree structure indicates.
The 'xN' (e.g.: x2 ) on any particular tree view indicates how many times that profile is shown on that particular view (this is done to minimize the clutter caused by crossing lines). By clicking on that 'xN' number you will be "taken to" the next occurrence of that profile.
This one is rather simple; some of the tree views involving European royalty or of early American immigrants can get rather complex, with cousins marrying cousins.
Sometimes one particular tree view might appear complicated, but if you select a different "focus person" for the tree view (e.g. by clicking on the small "tree" word), the resulting diagram may be clearer than the previous view.
