About Abrasha Blum
Abrasha Blum was in hiding in Aryan Warsaw.
One of the organisers of the armed resistance in the Warsaw Ghetto.
Member of the Coordinating Committee of Jewish Organisations.
He was betrayed, arrested and tortured by the Gestapo.
Feigele Pelte, who saw him in prison, was the last of his friends to see him alive:
'After a prolonged investigation the police left the room. Abrasha did his best to walk, grimacing with pain. When I asked in a whisper how he was feeling, he was unable to answer.'
Abrasha Blum was shot on May 10 or 11, 1943.
