Wife of Lieut. Nathaniel Peck, see: p. 206 0f Ira Peck's 1868 book., she lived to 75 yrs. of age. The spelling of her name is "Alce", in Ira Peck's 1868 book. She came from Portsmouth, RI. Her death date is not given in the book, but is present on Nathaniel's primitive and partly broken stone. Nathaniel died in Fort Edward in 1756. In Nathaniel's will she was to have "the use of the best room in Nathaniel's mansion house as long as she remained HIS widow." Nathaniel was also a slave owner. According to the book, "The Fish Family in England and America", by Lester Warren Fish, Alice Fish was born July 03, 1702 in Portsmouth, RI. She was a daughter of Robert Fish & Mary Hall. She married Nathaniel Peck on Jan. 14, 1725 in Swansea, MA.
