Amy Blodgett was born 16 Feb 1723/24 in Plainfield, Windham County, Connecticut [1]. She was a daughter of Sarah (Hall; 1688-1736) and William Blodgett (1686-abt.1738) [2].
She married first, 8 Apr 1743 in Plainfield, Connecticut, Joshua Whitney [3]. There were at least five, perhaps 9 children of this union:
- Abigail (Whitney) Bacon (1744-1821); married Asa Bacon
- Huldah (Whitney) Palmer (1754-1798); married Elias Palmer

- Elizabeth Sarah Whitney (1759 - 1760) [4],[5]
- Amy (Whitney) Stevens (1761-1842); married Nathaniel Stevens
- After Joshua Whitney died, Amy (Blodgett) Whitney married second, about 1770, Isaac Lawrence (1704–1793), as his second wife. He died 2 Sec 1793 at Canaan, Connecticut.
Amy (Blodgett) (Whitney) Lawrence married third, about 1799, George Palmer (1719-1809).
Amy (Blodgett) (Whitney) (Lawrence) Palmer passed away in Litchfield County, Connecticut, 24 Dec 1819. Her grave is in Hillside Cemetery, East Canaan, Litchfield County, Connecticut, USA [6].
