There were 3 Andreis Scherps or Sharps in the Albany area during the late 1600's and genealogists believe that he changed his name to Barheit during that period

Andrias father is Hans Barhydt. Mother is Barentje [middle name?] Straatsman.

Andrias married Geertje De Metselaer about 1683 in Beverwyck, New York (British America).

Their children Johannes Barhydt; Dirkje or Geertje; Brent Andriew and Geertruy.
