Anna Jacoba Margaretha Howard entered the Middelburg Concentration Camp during the Second Anglo-Boer War along with her mother and siblings. Anna was aged 20 years old and 6 months when she entered the Camp in May 1900. Anna died on 21 June 1901 in the Camp from measles and pneumonia.
