Utica Herald Dispatch July 31, 1916 Anson G. Stoddard Veteran of Civil War was Highly Respected-D.A.R. Lawn Party Lowville July 31-Anson G. Stoddard a veteran of the Civil War, died Saturday night at the home of his brother, Morgan Stoddard, in this village, aged 80 years. He was a lifetime resident of Lewis County and was highly respected. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Cora Belle Stoddard, and 3 sons, Sheridan Stoddard of Lowville, Livingston Stoddard of Lowville, and Fritz Stoddard of Schenectady, and one brother, Morgan A.
