Artie Mae Hatchett Satterwhite, 86, of Pleasureville, died Thursday, May 31, 2007, at homestead Nursing Center in new Castle. She was previously employed as a packer for American Greetings, was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, Louisville, and was the daughter of the late John and Vera Julia Swigert Hatchett.

She is survived by her husband: Delbert V. Satterwhite, Pleasureville; two daughters: Sue Cox, Elmburg and Dorothy Billings, Greenwood, IN; five grandchildren ; ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2nd at Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Interment was in the Simpsonville Cemetery.
