Bobbie Magdeline Hawks, 76, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013.
She was retired from General Electric Co. after 23 years and was a member of Summit General Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Hawks; a daughter, Sheila Barnett; a grandson, Aaron Barnett; four sisters, Delphia, Marie, Jane and Jearline; and a brother, Marvin Terry.
Survivors include a son, Stephen (Carolyn) Hawks; two grandchildren, Andrew (Crystal) Elliott and Emily; two great-grandchildren, Mark and Peyton; three sisters, Margie Rainey (Charles), Madeline Downs and Rita Watkins; two brothers, George (Barbara)Terry and Tony (Carolyn)Terry Sr.; and a sister-in-law, Louise Dye.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, at Summit General Baptist Church in Summit. Burial follows in Summit United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Leukemia Foundation.
