SEMI-WEEKLY NEWS (Huntingdon, Pa.) of Monday, April 23, 1906 "Mrs. Catharine E. Moffit - Died on Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Gilliland, near Petersburg aged about 73 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gilliland and Mrs. Stouffer, of East Altoona; also by four sons, S. T. and H. B. of Altoona, G. C. and Charles Moffit, of Bellwood. She had been since early childhood a member of the Presbyterian church. Mrs. Moffit was for some years a resident of Bellwood."
