Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pennsylvania. November 16, 1960; p 39. Mrs. Catherine B. Moffitt of 1230 13th Ave. died at 6:10 p.m. yesterday in the Altoona Hospital where she was admitted Friday, following a brief illness. She was born at Bellwood Oct. 15, 1874, a daughter of Michael and Anna (Garman) Wesley, and was married to Charles L. Moffitt, who preceded her in death. Surviving are the children: Mrs. Hazel Evans of Blandburg, Mrs. Mary Santman of Galveston, Tex., Mrs. Catherine Pflitzner of San Luis Obisjo, Calif., Herman of Altoona, Charles of Akron, Ohio, and Harold of Bellwood; also 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Bellwood Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the Axe Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
