Col. David Hough was born in Norwich, CT March 13.1753. He was a ship carpenter. He moved to Lebanon, NH in 1778. He married Abigail Huntington July 2.1775 died @78yrs. Colonel Hough was engaged in agricultural pursuits and was the largest stockholder in Lebanon, holding 1-10 shares. His farm was across the road from the Cemetery; which became the poor farm for Lebanon; and then owed by Forest Cole.
