Before 1701, Elizabeth married Jacob Clifford and initially settled in Hampton, Rockingham Co., New Hampshire. [2] [1] [3] [4] Together they had several children, all born in Hampton, Rockingham Co., New Hampshire:

Two days before the birth of her son, Jacob Jr., her husband, Jacob, died on 9 May 1715 in Hampton, Rockingham Co., New Hampshire. [6] Some time after her husband's death, Elizabeth moved her family back to Chilmark, Dukes Co., Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, [2] probably to be near her family.
On 27 Mar 1728, her eldest son, John died; recorded at Tisbury, Dukes, Massachusetts.[7] "It is said he died well. He died at Mr. Cobbs of Newtown." [2]

On 4 Nov 1728 Elizabeth married Ichabod Allen, as his third wife.
