From the files from the St Petersburg Historical archive fund 2/1/14577:
The file is the collection of various letters for an enrollment of Eugenia to Alexandrovsky Institute in St. Petersburg into 7th Class. She was enrolled on 10 April 1896 and started the schooling on 4 September 1896. Before she was enrolled to Alexandrovsky Institute she studied at private college and was fluent in Russian, French and German and could perform ‘’4 operations with numbers’’.

On 1902 Yakov Grigoriev died and Eugenia received a pension from Ministry of Defence and mother Ludmila Grigoryeva asked for the payment of College fees from her allocated pension. In March 1902 she also requested for her daughter to be transferred to pedagogical courses within the College, so Eugenia can become a teacher. Eugenia finished the college on 25 May 1903.
