About Hannah Sampson

Descendant of Mayflower passenger Henry Samson

Per the biography of her husband, Hannah's last name may have been Whitman. There are trees on the web that indicate her father was a "John Whitman" and her mother was "Margaret Griffen." Of VRs quoted below one shows father John, the other Jonathan, same date. Multiple references indicate her first spouse died around 1677 and that she did in fact remarry to James Sampson; others which show him living longer are said to be refer to multiple people.

Hannah was born in 1641. She passed away about 1717.
