then preached in Alton, Gilmanton and Weare for fifty years.
He was a minister at the Free Will Baptist Church in Weare (established October 20, 1806)
from March 8, 1812 to 1829.
He served as a State Rep in the NH House of Representatives
from 1814-1816 and again 1819-1820,
and as a State Senator in the NH 3rd District 1822-1823.
