John Barnett, of Goochland County

Not the same as John Barnett, of Fluvanna County, or as John Barnett, of Amherst County

John Barnett, son of John Barnett and Katherine Farrar, was born 4 Jul 1719 in Henrico County, Virginia.

John Barnett married Agnes Arlington in Goochland, VA, marriage date noted as before the same day as the birth of Mary.

• Daniel 14 July 1759

John Jr lived right next door to John Sr and Katherine from the time he became 21 until he died. Most of John Sr and Katherine’s sons lived nearby. They all lived on or near Tuckahoe Creek. That land was on the Goochland side of the creek just north of where it flows east along the James River.
