John Griffith Timothy

(son of David Timothy and Esther Griffiths of Cardiganshire, Wales). Born March 12, 1825, Grigwin, Cardiganshire, Wales. Came to Utah 1862, David Jones company.

   Married:	Martha Davis 1853, at Cardigan (daughter of David Davis and Martha Lewis).

Their children:
David born March 6, 1854, married Martha Elvira Hawes;

           John born February 18, 1855, married Emily Hawes, married Margaret Ann Hall (Price);

           Joshua born August 10, 1856, died;

           Alma Nephi born December 9, 1857, married Ellen Mann Sainsbury;

           Brigham born June 21, 1859, married Mary Hannah Sabey;

           Heber born April 2, 1861, married Esther Elizabeth Vernon;

           Martha born August “3, 1862, married Charles Alma Gardener, married J. P. Rudy;

           Hyrum born October 18, 1863, married Rose Clark;

           Joseph born October 2, 1865, married Lucy Jane Thomas;

           Mary born June 23, 1867, died;

           Eleanor born August 27, 1868;

           Jedediah born March 7, 1870, married Jane Vilate Wamsley.

Died April 18, 1900, Vernal, Utah.
