Jun Abaya

He served as Secretary of the Department of Transporation and Communication (DoTC) from 2012 to 2016, and as representative of the first district of Cavite from 2004 to 2012. He was a cadet in the Armed Forces of the Philippines from 1984 to 1988, and a naval officer of the Philippine Navy from 1988 to 2004. His father Plaridel Abaya also served as represenative of the first district of Cavite.
