About Joseph Wheeler
The son of Thomas & Joane Wheeler, he married (1) Patience Holbrook on June 1, 1678 in Milford, Conn. and (2) Dorcas Swaine Taintor, widow of John Taintor and daughter of Daniel Swaine of Branford.
His will was dated June 21, 1726 and probated September 15, 1727.
Old Settlers' Monument to acknowledge the first settlers who had been interred in Old Burying Ground and transferred to Fairmount
