Biography

Mercy Warren, daughter of Nathaniel Warren and Sarah Walker, was born February 20, 1657/8. [1] She died after November 6, 1727. She married Jonathan Delano on February 28 1677/8 at Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Twelve children were born to the marriage.

She was the granddaughter of Pilgrim Richard Warren.

She had a cousin named Mercy Warren of similar age in the colony. Mercy Delano's identity is proved by probate and land transactions ("Silver Book" p 42-43).

Note regarding dates

The dates 1657/8 and 1677/8 note the difference in old style and new style date conventions. The original records show 1657 and 1677, respectively. Using modern calendar conventions, we would interpret these dates as 1658 and 1678, respectively.

Mercy Warren was born in 1658 and died in 1727. [1]

This is where I got birth, death, marriage, spouse and most other info while drilling down then following back up and then down again to connect President Grant and President Calvin Coolidge, even though I previously found Grant.
