Mercy (Swan) Perry was related to a passenger on the Mayflower.

Biography

Mercy Swan, daughter John Swan and Mary (Pratt) Swan, was born in Cambridge about 1670.[1]

Mercy married John Perry of Watertown 19 Dec 1706 as his second wife.[2][1] Perry was born 3 Mar 1669/70 at Watertown and died at Cambridge 6 Aug 1725, son of John and Sarah (Clary) Perry. His first wife was Sarah Price and he had children by her: John, Mary, Sarah, Abigail, and Elizabeth Perry.[1][3]

Mercy Perry was appointed to administer the estate of her husband, John Perry 19 Aug 1725.[4] She sold 8 acres of the estate 19 April 1728. In 1731 the real estate in Cambridge and Watertown was distributed to Mercy and her children. Several land transactions took place involving the children, the widow, John's brother and other persons over the next 10 years.[5]

Mercy Perry died at Arlington, Massachusetts, 23 Jun 1748 ae 78.[6][1]

They had three children, all born in Cambridge:[1]

Ebenezer, b. 10 Jan 1707/8;
