On April 5, 1720 Thomas Steele was appointed administrator of the estate of Mercy Steel. The April 1724 agreement to division of the estate of their mother Mercy Steele was made by Thomas Steele, Daniel Steele , Eliphalet Steele and John Webster , in right of wife Abiell. On April 10, 1749 Daniel , Eliphalet, Samuel, Nathaniel and John Steele of Hartford , John Webster and wife Abiah of Farmington, William Steele of New Hartford and Daniel and Jerusha Mills of Simsbury sold to Phinias Lewis of Farmington a tract in Farmington laid out in the right of Samuel Steele deceased. On September 21, 1756 Daniel , Eliphalet , Samuel , Nathaniel and John Steele of Hartford, Thomas Hosmer and wife Susannah of Hartford , Stephen Hopkins and wife Abiel of Waterbury and William and James Steele of New Hartford sold to Silas Spencer a lot held in common with the heirs of Samuel Hubbard ( Samuel, Nathaniel, John, Susanna , William and James are children of son Thomas who is deceased.
