At the time of his death in 1811, he left 76 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren. his children were: Peter, Daniel, John, Jacob, Margaret, Barbara, Maria Susanna, Lorentz, Eva Catharine, Christian, and Magdalena. Peter Troxell deeded to his sons various tracts of land: To Peter, 194 acres, 54 perches, on 22 July 1783, to Daniel, 189 acres, 140 perches, on 22 May 1783, and 62 acres, 72 perches, on 8 Dec 1790, to Jacob, 128 acres, on 14 May 1783, to Lorenz, 104 acres, 29 perches, on 18 Dec 1790. These five tracts adjoin each other and upon them are still standing five stone houses built by members of the Troxell Family.

Troxel(l) Trails) Peter Troxell saw service in the War of Revolution and was a private in Captain Henry Reitz's Company, Second Battalion, Northhampton County, PA. Militia.

20. Peter TRAXEL, son of Peter TRAXEL, was born in January, 1724, and died

Feb. 28, 1811. His wife, Anna Maria TRAXEL, was born March 6, 1727 and died

July 10, 1795. He was married May 19, 1747, and had seven sons and seven

daughters.

Peter, eldest son of Peter, the emigrant, was born in Switzerland, Dec. 28, 1723. Soldier of the Rev., and was a member of the Reformed Church. He died Feb 28, 1811, in his 80th year. He married May 19, 1747, Anna Maria (?), born March 6, 1727 and died July 10, 1795. They had 7 sons  and 7 daughters, of whom 2 sons and 1 daughter died before the mother.
Peter Troxell married the 2nd time, May 11, 1799 to Hanna Zirckel. His children; Peter, Daniel, John, Jacob, Margaret, Barbara, Maria Susanna  born 1765, Lorentz, Eva Catharine, Christian, born Dec 6 1771 and  Magdalena, born April 30, 1774. Of the daughters, Margaret married Gottfried Roth, Barbara, born Dec 13, 1762, died June 4, 1834 married Peter Gross, Catharine born Aug 12, 1769, died Jan 26, 1851 married Peter Guth.  Guth, Eva Catharine nee Traxel, w/o Peter Guth, 12 Aug 1769, died 26 Jan 1851
