Abraham Dixon was married to Sarah Claar, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Masters Claar on 31 Jan 1867. Abraham was the son of Abraham and Phoebe Graham Dixon.
He and Sarah had 7 children: William, Riley, Irwin Everett, Elizabeth, Hillborn and Tillberry. Another son, Samuel died at the age of 2 yrs.
Abraham Dixon enlisted in the Union Army before he was 18 years old in Company K 91st Ohio Volunteer Infantry where he saw and endured 3 years hard service for his Country during the Civil War. Inscription: DIXON ABRAHAM DIXON Co.K. 91, O.V.I. 1844 - 1922
Note: He is buried with his wife Sarah Claar Dixon.
