Ephriam Willard came from New Braintree MA, Died October 8, 1837 in Harbor Creek Erie CO PA at the home of his son Leonard Willard, was buried in East Ripley Cemetery . A badly worn stone bears his initials E.W.. and his wife's marked M.W. Between Aug 1775 - 12 Aug 1782 Ephriam was a Musician in the Revolutionary Army [6]
He applied for a pension in 1818 then living in Ripley, and July 14th 1835 he asked to have payments transferred to Harbor Creek, He enlisted for the Revolution June 1, 1775 in Capt. Jonathan Danforth's Co Col. Brewer's Regt of MA., His family record was filed with his application, He married at Granville NY Mindwell LOOMIS Dec 17, 1790 dau of Seth LOOMIS and Mindwell PORTER, She was born March 30, 1769 ,d 1845 in Harbor Creek,PA B East Ripley NY sister of Oliver and Joel JR LOOMIS also and others in area.
