There is some confusion here as to the correct father of Nakhman. According to Otsr HaRabanim, he is R' Nachman haLevi Epstein, A.B.D. Bar, Ukraine (# 15995), son of Rav Avraham HaLevi ben Meir Halevy Segal Epstein, AB"D Horodne & Brisk (# 681), and brother of Yechiel Michel Halevi Epstein (# 9303), the latter being the son in law of the Rabbi Mordechai Jaffe, Ba׳al "Halevushim" (# 13847). At the moment he is shown as being the son of Rabbi Avraham Halevi Epstein, the grandson of his above brother Yechiel Michel. (01 MAR 2023)
