Mr. Raymond Worth Andrews, age 80, a resident of Roxboro Rd., died early Sunday morning at the Carver Living Center following declining health. He was the son of the late John M. and Salina Roycroft Andrews.
Mr. Andrews was born and reared in Durham Co. and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a former employee of BC Remedy and Wrenn-Wilson Construction Co. In his later years Mr. Andrews enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.
Mr. Andrews is survived by his wife, Lottie Smith Andrews; daughter, Daphine Andrews, of Bahama; sons, Raymond (Andy) W. Andrews Jr. and wife, Annetta, of Rougemont and Bryant Andrews, of Hillsborough; sister, Mandy A. Jeffries, of Durham; grandchildren, Allen and wife, Patricia and Chris Andrews and great-grandchild, Emma Andrews.
