SPECULATIVE:

I am basing the link of Ailey to Richard on circumstantial evidence. After the death of Wilson HADAWAY, his widow Ailey moved in between Rodicie King HADAWAY (wife of Amos, her dead husband's brother) and Richard King (father of Rodicie).

REPORT FROM THE SECRETARY OF WAR IN RELATION TO THE PENSION ESTABLISHMENT OF THE UNITED STATES 1835

COPIED AND INDEXED BY WILLIAM R. NAVEY P. O. BOX 251 HOLLY RIDGE, NC 28445-0251

RICHARD KING TALIAFERRO COUNTY PRIVATE NORTH CAROLINA MILITIA $35.66 ANNUAL ALLOWANCE $106.98 AMOUNT RECEIVED MARCH 18, 1833 PENSION STARTED AGE 77

=============

If this 1796 marriage date is correct (as well as their respective birthdates), then Richard was 39 and Rachel was 19 when they wed. If so, then Richard must have certainly had more children than Ailey with his first wife, Rebecca MARTIN.

=============

I have found no record of a Will for Richard in Taliaferro Co, GA. His second wife, Rachel, does have a will, but the children are not named.
