Robert Hamilton of Torrance sold the lands of Allerstokes and Logoche to Bartholomeo Robertoun, writer in the burgh of Hamilton. 16 August 1613: DISCHARGE by Robert Hamyltoun [Hamilton] of Torrence [Torrance] to Robert Flemyng [Fleming] of Revinscraig, of the latter's share, namely 26 merks 8/11d., of a yearly duty of 80 merks due by the said Robert Flemyng and two others for a tack of the teind sheaves of the lands of Eister and Wester Moderwallis, assigned to them by Mr. George Balfour, lawful son of George Balfour of Terrie, for all the days of the said Mr. George's life, by contract dated 22 Feb. 1608, the said Robert Hamylton having right to the said duty by assignation, dated 8 May 1612, by William Flemyng, servitor to John Lord Thirlestane, to whom the said yearly duty had been transferred by the said Mr. George Balfour by assignation dated 8 June 1611.
