Extra Information, Service in Army or Gevernment. -- Ruth Lothrop, minor daughter of Samuel Lothrop, of Wallingford, having died 1752, her estate was claimed by relatives on the paternal and maternal sides, and the paternal uncles and aunts are named as being; John Lothrop; Mary Lothrop alias Tyler; Hannah Lothrop alias Parker; and the heirs of RuthLothrop alias Post of Norwich deceased. It therefore follows that Samuel, John Mary, Hannah and Ruth were brothers and sisters and comparison with the Lo-Lathrop Family shos that they must all have been children of John Lothrop. The same is also proved by the deeds of Mary's sister Hannah. In 1734 Samuel Thomson of Farmington and Hannah his wife conveyed land to their brother Samuel Lothrop; and in 1744 Samuel Parker and his wife Hannah Parker alias Thomson firstly Lothrop conveyed land which was inherited from her father John Lothrop, deceased (Wallingford Deeds Vol. 7, p. 137; Vol. 10, p. 20). Mary Lothrop Tyler, being sister of hannah Lothrop-Thomson-Parker (as proved by probate above) and the said Hannah being daughter of John Lothrop (as proved by deed above) Mary must have also been daughter of John Lothrop.
