Samuel Bowles

Samuel was a Cherokee man

Biography

Samuel Bowles was born on Cherokee lands in Arkansas, the son of Duwali/John Bowles and his wife Oo ti yu. He married a woman named I du si and they were the parents of one son, George, born about 1840. [1] The family may have lived in Indian Territory since George was living there in 1861, [2] but Samuel's date and place of death are unknown.
