Posted February 11, 2011 by Amanda | No Comment

This week we highlight the Food & Beverage People project, which features individuals who have made significant impacts in the food industry. Their successes have contributed a wide array of food and beverages that we all still enjoy today. There are already 17 profiles included in this project. Perhaps  you’ll want to help add some more people whose creations have satisfied our stomachs!

Take a look at a few of the profiles included:

Will Kellogg – He was the founder of Kellogg’s cereal company. His invention of corn flaked cereal forever changed the way Americans ate breakfast.

Colonel Sanders – He was the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, a popular fast food restaurant chain.

Milton Hershey – He was a confectioner and founder of the Hershey Chocolate Company. Hershey developed a formula for milk chocolate that would make Hershey’s company the world’s leading chocolate manufacturer.

William Wrigley, Jr. – He was an American chewing gum industrialist and founder of the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company.

Caleb Bradham – He was a pharmacist and inventor of Pepsi-Cola. Bradham believed his drink aided in digestion and boosted energy.
