Today marks American author and humorist Mark Twain‘s 176th birthday! Twain was born Samuel Langhorne Clemens in 1835 in Missouri. He is best remembered for his novels, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, with the latter often referred to as “the Great American Novel.”
