especially in areas of blocks, where in the least of the hypothesis that does not require conflict cleaning, it often go to mess up maybe some multilingual fields..

now don't worry a (C) will cancel and with a single button isolate that handful of profiles for the delete ..
..only if you find more, please report them to (C) here first ^^

for example look at this which looks like a harmless merge:

one has the numbering on the middle name, the other on the suffix.. someone merge and stay there for years, before a decent admn notices it .. and this is nothing:
-around space-time I saw with my own eyes, numbering " I " on the name merged with numbering " I "on the middle name became " I I "..
-or the numbering of the name, ending in the suffix (following the contemporary custom), but merging get confused with the numbering of the extended medieval title of the suffix.
-etc etc

Sorry Livio, but I dont understand your point as it's clearly the same person and is one step closer to solving the mess that someone else caused resulting in duplicate parents and a conflict that needed resolving.
There are still conflicts that need resolving, yes, as a consequence (often the case) which I can go ahead and also resolve.

I am curious to know what approach would you have suggested in the circumstances - deleting or disconnecting the duplicate profiles?

If you feel that you have the solution then go ahead, but reversing the merge that I did would not eliminate the mess on its own.

@Carolyn Yes, but the merge is not only one: 8 to complete, not even so branched, and not even in the armored area.. (if you merge them 8 all, the conflict is resolved:)
