Possible duplicates - Hiram Fields

Erica Howton, can you please help me in this area - late 1700's USA

There is no Mary Susannah Emory Fields. Mary and Susannah Emory were sisters, born about 1750., daughters of Mary Grant and William Emory. Susannah had seven children by Richard Fields, none of whom was named Hiram. That is a bogus connection.

Hiram Lansford Fields Disconnected from parents.

I actually had recently taken a stab at Hiram, I think. I’ll try and find that discussion and those notes. If I remember correctly there’s a possible Ancestry path but it’s unproven as far as I can tell. I hadn’t gotten much feedback on the discussion but it should consolidate the dups for us.

Hiram Lansford Fields (1740-1791) has been disconnected from parents Richard Fields, Sr. (1745-1781) and Susannah Martin (1751-1839)

They were born in 1745 and 1751 which is after his birth date of 1740.

Those dates are not accurate for Hiram, I don’t think. I made an MP of the profile with notes and am starting to merge dups.

Looking on various internet trees

Some have Hiram Lansford FIELDS as being born 1842 and others say 1860

A lot say he married twice - 3 children to the first wife and then he married Frances.

Most of the trees contained no sources.

This profile looks to be at the wrong generation John Fields - born 1763

Some think Hiram Lansford Fields was a son of Davis Fields, Sr. ; that would be my guess because of the Lansford Name. But I have not yet seen firm evidence or feedback from members so leaving him be.

I have Hiram Fields born 1760 in NC. Son of Lansford Fields b.1729 or 30 . Hiram married Fanny Mays b.1768 in NC

John Fields b. 1769 in VA married Eliza Bailey. John Fields brother to Hiram Fields Parents Lansford Fields and Fanny Mays

I have also seen that Hiram Lanford is also Joseph Lansford Fields. this is a hard family to follow. Also one child that is not listed is Judidah Fields Sizemore.
