Does anyone have a fairly definitive list of the children of Thomas Marshall of colonial Westmoreland County, Virginia? I see apparently conflicting claims. The fact that he didn't name his children in his will is part of the problem.
For example, he apparently had at least one daughter named Mary. Many sources name her as Mary Iva Marshall b 1697 married to Thomas Camp. However, other sources (such as https://www.colonial-settlers-md-va.us/getperson.php?personID=I0047...) name that daughter Mary b 1697 as the wife of John Piper. (This Mary Marshall Piper has been believed to be the sister of Sarah Franks, widow of Robert Franks, who named John and Mary Piper as guardians of her four younger children in 1725--in which case Sarah would also be a presumed daughter of Thomas Marshall.)
I suspect that the current children linked to him on Geni are not all correct.
