I added him to the project and started a section: Notables with or died of COVID-19
He isn't in Geni at present. Maybe there would be an Italian who would like to create a profile for him. He also has a Wikipedia site.
I had already added Tom Hanks & his wife to the project. I haven't looked to see if anyone else has been added. I will add them under the "Notables..." heading.

I lived in Italy for a year, I can't believe today the deaths they know of would make up a Village of people. 41,749 confirmed cases, 3,411 known deceased.

Thanks Suzan, I added the famous people list to the Coronavirus project (https://www.geni.com/projects/COVID-19-Coronavirus-Disease-2019/116...)
I have also modified the intro. Erica Howton would you please look at that & see if it needs to be modified or reworded???
I rephrased this slightly to be clearer:
“If they’re living / notable, their profile needs to be a Master Profile. Use “discussion” with a link to profile if it needs curating.”
And broke out “Notables” into two sections, diagnosed and deaths.
Should that grouping be moved up in the project overview? Would make it easier to update.
Erica Howton, Thanks, that makes it much clearer.
In other projects, the Notables diagnosed & deaths comes at the end, as it is easier to find them. The only other place to put them might be before the heading: "Mortality, morbidity & statistics",

The award-winning playwright Terrence McNally died at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida from complications due to coronavirus Tuesday, according to his publicist. He was 81.
McNally, who was a lung cancer survivor with chronic COPD, was frequently described as the "bard of American theater" and was known for writing "Kiss of the Spider Woman," "Ragtime" and a number of farcical plays throughout his sixty-year career.
He is survived by his husband, Tom Kirdahy, and his brother, Peter McNally.
Got him connected - little Geni trees merged in.

Maurice Berger, an art historian and curator whose areas of focus included whiteness in the art world and the political implications of photography, has died at 63. On Twitter, New York magazine art critic Jerry Saltz wrote that Berger died of coronavirus-related causes, which was confirmed in an obituary by New York’s Jewish Museum, for whom he had organized an exhibition about art and television in 2015.
