I am looking for trees for the Mendelsohn's who lived in Ostrow0. Particularly related to Jenny Mendelsohn mother of Thekla Mendelsohn. Thank you.

Hi Lydia,

I sent you a few invitations as a starting point for your quest for the Mendelsohn's from Ostrowo.

Here is another hint: Go up top on this page where is says "Search People" Put in Mendelsohn and see what turns up.

Also you may learn something from the "Surnames" found by clicking on the little black carott in that same box up top here. Put in Mendelsohn and see what turns up of interest.

A tree for a family may be found by clicking on "View Tree" of any of the Mendelsohn profiles.

Questions?

Thanks, I have obviously already done all that already.... was wanting to know if there were any more sources of info not yet on gene. all best..

Lydia, If you have access to Ancestry you will see a little bit of further information on my Tree there, which has some supporting records attached and notes in respect of other records.

I shall be posting a copy of the tree onto MyHeritage shortly.

It appears that Salomon Mendelsohn had a sister. The record in respect of his sister provides a name for their mother.

In case you have not already seen it, the site basia.famula.pl/en/ has links to records in respect of Ostrowo.

They have indexed some years for Ostrowo, typically up to 1910. There are further records which have not been indexed which can be seen by going "up the tree" on the records on the links from the site.

Best wishes,

Peter Lax

Thank you Peter.

We posted what we know under the Gitelman tree. You might compare your data with that....

Hi Lydia,

Geni is so big and complex now that we all should be more descriptive of what we are looking for. You can use as many words as you want in a Discussion/Query. No limit.

I just looked for Gitelman. There are over 600 profiles with Gitelman in them. I am not able to find what you mean by your comment.

Questions?, I seek to help not hinder.

Dan

You were very helpful. thank you
