On Nov. 7, 2020, I noted on the profile of Elizabeth:

Elizabeth was not married to Charles Johnston Floyd. This is a bad merge. Perhaps she was married to another relative named Charles Floyd.

Charles is Pvt. Charles Johnston Floyd, (CSA)

He was married to Sarah Jane Floyd

Note: Enum 15 Oct. Who are John and Flora Rankin, ages 13 and 14 who are living with family? Is Elizabeth Floyd who is living with the family, the mother of Charles? Note she is from NC, also. And who are John and James Floyd, age 18 and 16? If they are Elizabeth's children, then she was age 54 when the youngest was born-- not impossible, but not likely?

Some of the Floyds from Horry, Marion, and Dillon Counties SC and Robeson and Columbus Counties, NC did move to Pike, AL and other counties nearby.

I will look to see if Charles married to Elizabeth Carlisle Floyd is one of them. Right now, I think the preponderance of information would have us detach Elizabeth Carlisle and her children from Charles Johnson Floyd, son of Francis Floyd, II and Christian Floyd I will make another Charles Floyd and try to indicate some way that they are not to be merged. May need a curator when finished.

Any other thoughts and I wander through the descendants of Francis Floyd and Isabella Floyd Lee There are many duplicate names and they need sorting. This is one of those cases, I think.
