The wife of Turner Harris is not mentioned in sources attached to Turner, although his children are described:

Harris, G. Dowse. (1914). Harris genealogy. Columbus, Miss.: Keith printing co. Page 44. https://hdl.handle.net/2027/wu.89066158239?urlappend=%3Bseq=50

Barbara Thomas Has pointed us to documentation described and published at Uwharrie Roots:February 2021

As noted above, Turner Harris of Montgomery County is often confused with Turner Harris of Davidson County and is often seen in family trees married to Elizabeth Rush. The Turner Harris in Davidson County did marry Elizabeth Rush. The Turner Harris in Montgomery County married Susannah Thomas, daughter of Benjamin and Catherine Thomas. It is possible, but not yet fully proven, that Catherine’s maiden name is Rush.

Unless there are objections, we should proceed with moving the children to the correct mother.

Here’s Turner Harris, of Davidson County I’ve merged Elizabeth Rush.

Thank you. Yes, Please note that we know Susannah Thomas Harris died in 1799, Arthur Harris was at the estate sale of Benjamin Thomas, Franklin County N C with Turner Harris, who is listed as a family member in the will of Benjamin Thomas.

Done.

What is the evidence Hon. Lt. Sampson Harris was in this family?

Did you want to add profile for second wife?

Can we please have Turner Harris of Montgomery County as Susanna Thomas Harris? Since that was her full name.

Thank you,

Barbara Thomas

We do. That’s what I see?

Susanna (Thomas) Harris

yes, Thank you so very much. Love your passion for history as much as I love it! So glad the whole story is out about this lady and her husband and the work that Lea Morris has done on uwharrieroots. It took some dedicated ladies to piece all of this together. Sp glad I never gave up on finding Benjamin Thomas bible. It opened up history all over again.
