In tracing a line in an Ancestry DNA match's tree, I came across two profiles for Sarah (Martin) Bibb. Both have a husband named Thomas. I'll leave it to the profile managers to determine if they're duplicate profiles for the same ocuple and do any necessary merge. Thanks in advance for any merge assistance.

Sarah Bibb

The women have different birth dates, different death dates and different parents

And different husbands

Sarah Bibb is NOT the daughter of the Germanna couple she is attached to.
She s seen as daughter of a man named Henry on the Wikitree link/Smart Match on her profile.
I am disconnecting from the Germanna couple and will check their family group and ask for a lock.

Geni thinks she looks like Sarah MARTIN

A while back Geni introduced a matching algorithm that purely looked at name and approx dates. If 2 people were possibly alive at the same time and have the same names (or portion of name) then it suggests they are the same.
Users need to investigate and reject wrong merge suggestions as well as merge correct ones.
