This profile John "Jacob" Davis has been completely altered from John bar Irishman DAVIS to John bar Moshe DAVIS without any discussion or sources added.

Please provide sources for this change

Please supply the sources for the baptism of this JEWISH man in 1754 in Gloucester when he was born in London and for his fake father David Davis now curated of blessed memory in Gloucester too who wasn't Jewish.

I have my sources in my Ancestry tree and they are very many and very detailed.

I can email them to you when you have emailed me evidence that he was born in Ireland, baptised in a church in Gloucester and miraculously became Jewish and was born again in London and inherited a legacy from his sister who also left legacies to his children who emigrated to Australia, al in the will, all Jewish, not from Gloucester. Eagery awaiting evidence of your fake profiles.

Based on information receied from a descendant I added the Irishman name yesterday, then found this was due to confusion about your curated David Davis from ireland= and today after completing my research I reverted back to what I originally had and changed it to the correct name.

Instead of deleting and unlinking everything you should have sent me a simple message. There is actually nothing to discuss from my side but you have a lot of explaining to do, giving an Itrish father and a baotrised Jewish child. await your explanations.

What is the source for David Davis born 1788 being the son of David "Irishman" Davis

He is born 27 years after his siblings and is more likely to be grandchild rather than a child.

He appears to be a duplicate of David Davis

And confused with David Davis

Sarah 'bat Schwarts Aharon' Moses married David 'David bar Jacob Irishman' Davis on 5 february 1806. I have an accurate database with all references.

These 3 men all married the same woman at the same date and synagogue

David Davis was created by me yesterday in order to process the addition of the second wife..

I merged the profile as it was a duplicate.

I discovered this duplicate when I added a DNA match's descent by importing a Gedcom and Geni found the duplicate.

David Davis was created by Kevin Fisher on 24 May 2010.

His father was listed as Jacob David from Holland.

This particular David Davis was born on 26 December 1806. He was not married in the same year he was born.

His wife was also called Jane Myers Jane Davis daughter of Jacob Myers and Fanny Simons. She was born in about 1797.

The marriage to Jane was in my database years ago due to the problem that the "Irishman" was only used in half the entries.

After discovering the DNA match I thought she was perhaps from the second marriage to Jane but Jane was obviously not the wife and so the match is the daughter of Elizabeth who was born to the first wife who I yesterday changed to the second wife in error.

I will change her back to the first wife.

By not merging and then de-merging the two John Davis profiles, the tree is split in two and errors are more likely to occur until Mike Stangel approves the merge and discovers why the dates fell out of the de-merged children.
