Reminder: please only add soldiers

Hello, colleagues!,

Please remember that just because someone is listed as a DAR patriot, that does not automatically make them a Revolutionary War soldier.

As you know, many DAR patriots are considered such because they provided food to the army, signed petitions, served in local office, etc.

If you are unsure whether a DAR patriot actually served, please add them only to the Patriots - Daughters of the American Revolution project.

And when you see a profile where someone has been added to this project (American Revolutionary War soldiers) even though the sources don't support them having been a soldier, please don't hesitate to remove them from the project. We don't want to accidentally spread inaccurate information.
