I have been onto FamilySearch.org to view this persons profile. Unfortunately the dates of birth do not match with the other child. A mother of one child, who is born in March 1822, cannot bore another child in September 1843. Hence, it would be impossible for the above profile to belong to these parents.
I have since deleted this person from her profile on FamilySearch.org.
There is a possibility that this person belongs on a different profile, with similar names for the parents.

I believe that this profile should be deleted as the daughter of the above parents named on this profile.

If Frances Mary Cockersole Cope was born in 1822, why can't she give birth to Jane in March 1842 and Mary in September1843

I have a copy of Jane's baptism doc. certified from BDMNSW , Father Joesph Cope, Mother Mary, Parish of Rowan.

Also, on my great grandmother's birth certificate, (Jane's daughter Florence) Frances Rose is listed as the witness.

You even mention Jane, as one of two known children, in Joseph Cope and Frances Cockersole profile biography on Wikitree, but haven't added her as a daughter .

With regards to my WT profile of Joseph Cope, there will have to be more evidence that she indeed is the daughter of him. That is to say, the source on FS does not have a citation. Hence, the reason that Jane Adams Cope has not been added, to his profile, she has only been mentioned.
Also, 'Fanny' as she was known, married twice. He second husband was George Rose, another convict. So, in essence, descendants of George Rose and Fanny Cockersole have no connection/ nor relationship to Joseph Cope.

Regarding "A mother of one child, who is born in March 1822, cannot bore another child in September 1843"

I assume this should be March 1842 rather than March 1822

There is an 18 month gap between the births of the children which is rather normal for the time period and is definitely physically possible

Jane Adams was born in 1842, correct. Her mother was born in 1822. Thanks Leanne. I received an email from support early this morning.
However, as I mentioned to the support team, I came across a source on WT that I believe Lyn Gulpers had added. Unfortunately the source was for another Jane Adams. Perhaps she used this source for the profile on Geni.com.

Megan J. Woodward you sent me a message telling me to stop deleting your photos from Mary Frances (Cope) Newlands

I could not reply as you sent me the message and then immediately blocked me preventing me from replying.

If you look at the revisions tab of Mary Frances (Cope) Newlands you will see that I have not deleted any photographs from the profile. The last edit to photographs was done by yourself in 2023.

FYI RE" FS, I did not write the dates on FS. Someone else has written.
I'm requesting that you be removed from this profile and any other that I manage.
Also, when one is typing a biography please make sure that you a acquainted with formatting any profile.

The issues that you raised were

  • that a woman could have a child in March 1842 and September 1843
  • that the birth of Jane was not cited.

Both of these have been addressed.

I am sorry that the facts of the birth don't match with what you want them to be.

I cleaned up the overviews to move how they are related to people they never met to the bottom - moving facts about them such as their death dates up to the top. They are still on the profile for those interested in distant connections.

That’s right. I added it. Today it was deleted.
I had to end up added the photo again …FYI the photo is from a private collection of mine. It is a private original portrait of my 13th G/Grandfather.
No one should go onto any profile on Geni.com and think that they can delete images.

The revisions clearly show that no photograph was deleted today and no photograph was added today to Mary Frances (Cope) Newlands

The sources have been added to Geni and have been properly cited.

If you disagree please address the issue in this discussion.
