"Captain, I recall that I entrusted you to serve the warrant on Mr. Gideon Gibson in July."
Yes sir. On the twenty-fifth day of this past July, a Monday I led a party of fourteen men to Gibsons' home to release LT. JOSEPH HOLLAND from their custody. We were confronted by two lines of Gibson's Regulators. ......
....Captain Thompson added, "we killed Gibson's son, but unfortunately two of ours were killed also.
Joseph Holland was deceased by 1773 when Gideon Gibson SENIOR and Gideon Gibson JUNIOR are appraisers of the settlement of William Middleton Sr.
