Public profiles are now editable by all Pro users.

OK, I haven't noticed any fields that I couldn't edit other than those marked locked.. PS is it true that even curators can no longer see last online dates?

I have had multiple instances of profiles I follow (and manage) getting edited (and merged) without a notification.

This public editing of profiles does not work as advertised.

Philip, the notification is in the newsfeed on your homepage and they usually just drown in other notifications.
